We started in Northern California with a simple attitude: "Someone has to do it, it might as well be us." In a state where one party has held a majority in the legislature for 60 of the last 65 years, something needs to change. We believe this two-party system is a problem - no matter which party is in power.
The people of California deserve better.
California Reformation Coalition is a non-profit organization that advocates for the approved well-being of all Californians, regardless of political affiliation. We don't take sides in the election of any politician or political party.

Why the legislature?
We see the legislature the way the founders saw it - as our primary tool of representation, responsible for advocating for our interests and holding the executive branch accountable. They're the elected representatives in charge of the unelected bureaucracy. When the legislature operates effectively, so does the government.

Why not the Federal Government?
It's a question we get asked a lot, and truth be told the federal government is a whole can of worms we want nothing to do with. Like the fight between the Republicans and Democrats, or rivalries between different politicians, we say "no thanks."
It's not that we don't care what happens in Washington - we do. It's not that the federal government isn't important - it is. We're America first and we always will be. But with America in our hearts, we put our hands to work on the job that's right in front of us, and that job is California.
